Help Students reach new peaks

Support local high‑school students as they design, build, and compete with a full‑scale robot in the FIRST Robotics Competition. As a Volunteer Mentor, you’ll share what you know, learn alongside an enthusiastic team, and help students grow their technical, creative, and leadership skills in a hands‑on, student‑driven environment.

Mentors guide—not take over—by teaching safe practices, asking thoughtful questions, and helping students plan, problem‑solve, and make decisions. Whether your strengths are in engineering, programming, strategy, communications, business, or community outreach, there’s a place for you. Weekly time commitments vary by season, and both ongoing and specialty‑focused roles are welcome.
